I was successful in installing the patch. BUT now the software doesn't work properly. Some charts don't display until I add a template. Don't install the patch unless you are willing to reinstall from the CD if you have problems.

I had no problem but I also started with a newer version than it sounds like most that are having problems are using. I just purchased mine in the last couple weeks so I started with 6.52. The patch I was refering to was the one that was released on Dec 31st that was labeled as addressing Y2K problems and Euro conversion. I installed no problem on my AMD 350 running windows 98. It also fixed a few minor glitches I had with Metastock such as my datawindow displaying off center. I didn't have any of the problems the other poster had. If it won't go past 18%, you may have had a bad download from the site. I would try going back to the equis site and get the patch again and just have it over write the old one. You may have missed a byte or two in the download due to a noisy line or high traffic. One problem I am having with Metastock since day one. My inner windows are not being saved the same size as when I last used the chart. When I close everything down then re-open a chart, the indicator inner windows come up too big and mask the actual price chart. I have to resize the windows on the first chart in each folder I view. It is a minor problem but it is annoying. Any ideas? Good Luck, Lee
