BTW, YHOO reports on the 7th. We'll see how bearish the market is after that.

gw,

YHOO reports on the 12th. Not a big deal.

FYI- from the VTAR (c) Newsletter 1-1-99- There is room to be a little bearish...but still AMZN-

"Amazon.com [AMZN-321 1/4] we asked traders to take their crummy 196 point VTAR © profit off the table and relax for a while at $324 13/16 on December 28th. That's not too much to ask is it? AMZN was recommended recently by VTAR © at $126 3/4. This dog didn't match our performance in UBID last month $33 15/16 to $154 in a week but it will have to do. AMZN's total debt about the same as AOL and about 1/9 the share cap-so we have a much more leveraged situation here…still, THE INSTITUTIONS do not own this yet. They had better hurry up. Hold. "

FYI-

The Axxel Knutson's VTAR © Newsletter [Volume Trade Analysis Research] is published [free] 3/4 times a week and is given to various web sites and to individuals who request it. There are no charges. It is free. This may be an excerpt from that newsletter. Amazon should have very good quarterly results - extremely likely above analysts expectations. That doesn't mean that this pig isn't outrageously overpriced. The TA indicators I am looking at are the typical ones found in Windows on Wallstreet or Quotes Plus financial analysis software.
