' Scientific hoopla hype ? '

What's that mean ? Do you mean that LGND's science is worthless ? Has somebody on the thread been lying about the science ? If so, why don't you please clarify us about why the posters about LGND's science are wrong. Maybe we could learn a thing or two.

I can understand people's frustration about LGND's price action but I can't understand people whining like babies for the last 2 years about LGND's price action. OK, so some LGND investors were wrong in some price forecasts. So what ? If we had the gift of making correctly predictions, we all would be billionaires by now, right ? What did people think LGND to be ? A day-trading stock where you can get in and out within 5 min.s and make a few thousand bucks. If you believe in the company's scientific potential, buy some and forget the stock for the next decade. If you believe the science is worthless, you should steer clear of LGND in the first place.

People, if the losses hurt that much, why don't you just cut your losses and bury your bad LGND memories for good. Maybe there's still time left in 1999 for you people to invest in AMZN, EBAY and the like.

Good investing to everybody in 1999.
