I don't agree with you. Green Peace supports companies that give back to the Rain Forest and dont over kill and strip all trees from the land. Madera plants 2 trees for every one tree the cultivate. They have been supportive in many measures to help the rain forest. It can all be found on their web site at ownatree.com. Read about this company before you post such untruth.

It's amazing when you look at that link with the map of the world's forest that flodyie posted, you'll see how much we (the developed nations) have eliminated. Housing is one issue but it is also difficult to tell people in developing countries to not harvest trees and create things like cattle ranching. My first thought are also that I'm a little skeptic about greenpeace getting involved but you never know, they certainly are not as extreme as Earth First!
