The smartest investor I know sold all her internet shares on that day to beat 1999 selling. She bot AMZN at 80 when I said "no valu".

selling happened all last week, but nothing in the index dropped. Everyone finally realized this today, and everything internet dropped 50% in one day.

The major internet conpanies all reported record revenues and record losses, with no profits still no longer in sight.

Realizing that the internet is a CONSUMER model, not a SELLER model, everyone sells, because there is no way anyone could still be long these stocks.
