I was thinking I might post this an hour before
the open Monday, for maximum hypeability, heh heh
just kidding everybody. I'll put it up now and I hope
it will get buried under a couple hundred posts
between now and then. Most folks surfing for the
hot trade of the day will never see it, so I'd
say there is a good chance you can get shares not
far from where it closed this past week.

the story on Ariad
quote.bloomberg.com

the substance
biocognizance.com

my position is small right now, so it's not like
I'm a pump and dumper...I have accumulated losses
over the past year of something like 4k in aria,
and I only have a "third" of a position in Ariad
right now (I do own some warrants too, but those
are goint to expire worthless).

the bottom line, add aria to your watch list,
if it doesn't gap up and leave you behind, maybe
pick up a few shares and hang on to them--micro-
cap biotech is generally NOT tradable, I maintain
positions in these, I rarely daytrade biotech,
pair and aklm are my daytrade stocks at the moment.

I know I've mentioned microcap biotech more than
once on this thread, and I feel pretty good about
the sector going into the new year. Let's see how
my first post of the new year goes.

Anybody serious about an investment in Ariad should
of course read the entire thread here and on Yahoo,
and be prepared to hold your shares for years rather
than days...except of course for whatever action we
see on Monday from that article.

I'm not going to babysit anybody and explain what
Ariad is all about other than to give the thread link:

Banchee,

The Hard Right Edge (http://www.hardrightedge.com) has been live since December, 1997. Before that, I wrote a personal version on my home page called Day Traders Diary.

The site has evolved from its humble origins as a one page monthly. Starting tomorrow night, we'll be unveiling HRE Morning Trader, our new free interactive daily stock picks, ideas and scans page. At that point, internal content will be over 30 pages long and 100% free.

Later this winter we'll be releasing our first premium product called Traders Workshop. This gateway will contain 7 hour, on-line trading and technical analysis courses complete with proprietary reading materials, Real Audio lectures and an interactive stock chart "lab" learning modules.
