There my friend is a perfect illustration of my point. You think I'm broke because your judgement is being influenced by what you read here from various people.

That makes you a perfect sucker --- easily manipulated by what you read on the Internet because you don't apply any filters to what you read.

The first rule of "who do you trust" is disclosure. If a person does not post their position, then you cannot trust what they say. If someone says he lost his shirt or he's a loser because he lost his shirt, if you have full disclosure then you know the truth.

Its especially dangerous to get caught up in the hype out on the Internet including the ad hominem attacks.

Longs have been targeted as marks under the "greed" theory of investing ie. "I own therefore hyping my stock is good." And I will let my emotions get involved in trashing those perceived as "short". Its a great way to lock in your head.
