S&P Index funds (about 50 of them) must add AOL to their index on Monday. Some fund managers began buying on Dec 31. More should be buying Monday and Tuesday. But I've noticed that many of them prefer to do their trading after the normal markets close. It still gets recorded, but it probably diminishes the momentum that would push prices even higher. Indexes must buy about 5% of the outstanding AOL shares. Expect AOL to open up at least 5 points on Monday. Depending on who is re-balancing their funds, the stock could go up or down from there.
