Only useful if you don't know how your system is setup in which case you really have no business attempting it in the first place. Agreed. For those of us that break the rules and go where we shouldn't it can be helpful<g> It can also get confusing in Partition Magic if one changes the boot sequence. The drive letters change. It pays to be sure before overwriting partitions. I use volume labels to help avoid this confusion but drive sizes also prove useful. BTW I have matched drives in my machine and would probably do it again. Zeuspaul
