My point had to do with Ecommerce

and Novell's understanding of the use of the internet to make sales. Any company that claims it is an internet leader and doesn't understand how to use the internet to make sales of its own products has a problem --- especially if it is selling the plumbing for ecommerce to other companies!

I wasn't referring to VAR sales or to product evaluations.

Also if you read that article carefully you will see that MSFT knows that NOVL has given MSFT the small server market and thus time to perfect NT2000 which is coming closer and closer. The MSFT line is that NOVL is basically selling to the installed base and there primarily the enterprise.

If you have information to the contrary --- such as how many new sales these 900 new VAR's are generating then I would like to hear about that. I think everyone would.

Novell is completely dependent on the enterprise market
