HDTV is impressive when you see it, but I've seen reports that it may not be practical to expect HDTV to be in every home. There are other types of high resolution TV that may be more practical and affordable.

They're still trying to develop the HD market,,,,

CHY was a play of mine in '97 (CHYRON CORP)
It's suffered because their equipment (displayed at NAGANO olympics),while being among the best, has had no market. TV networks are still looking for the "Masses" in this new medium of TV.

With all new equipment needed by both the media company's AND the consumer, HD has been a product looking for a market.

The graphics are indeed great, but how many customers will they need, and how many customers will be able to afford the new TV's for this market to pay off and be a great investment?

IMO, it'll be awhile yet,,,my money rides elsewhere. Goodluck!
my 2¢,
-Mark
