I don't see anyone talking about eDreyfus; I have been using them and their telephone service is excellent and courteous, and their executions seem adequate. Also if you do at least 5 trades a month, they will credit your account 75 bucks towards your Level II charges.

Their only drawback to me so far is that youcan't trade BB's by computer, you have to use the phone, but they give you the 15 dollar rate anyway.

I also am starting to use NDB. I like the fact that they are owned by Sherwood, one of the biggest MM's in the biz.

A FEW REASONS TO STAY AWAY FROM SURETRADE. Least of all recently there prices on penney stocks have risen to make them impractical for the penneys. IF a co you own changes its name or symbol does a reverse split it will be 2 weeks before you can trade the stock online. supposedly others have said you can contact one of there brokers by phone. However i have in the past spent hours trying to get them by phone. IT is not an 800 #. THEY will not let you sell an OTC stock that you bought that same day. Some bull about they have started using nyse rules concerning daytradeing. I could list 5 other reasons off the top of my head but these should make the point.
