WOOD -acres 707,000 (rainforest) -shares 72,900,000 How much is a acre worth in the Amazon rainforest? Cattle operations = $60 per acre or .58 cents a share. Timber harvest = $400 per acre or $3.88 a share If all resources were harvested = $2,400 per acre or $23.28 a share. These numbers are fact not theory.
