hi bridgette,

you wrote..<i got caught up in the internet frenzy of last week...made some good trades but was a nervous wreck about it>

and this a perfect example when you state you were a nervous wreck...this is gambling not investing...

enough said about that...

bridge...i strongly recommend that you don't delay changing brokers, all it will take is one bad trade that you can't get out of or have no clue to what is going on (not having time and sales and L2) and you will wish you were on on a realtick system.

what you will need:

wire transfer or send a cashiers check to fund your account, you can be up and running in a few days.

you will need a good PC with lots of memory... i use a dell 450 for trading only...19 or 21" monitor is a must...at least 128MB....and 56K with a good ISP..unless you can get cable or adsl.

i was using a 56K with earthlink and everything worked great....i know have adsl and everything is lighting fast.......

wht you will get....an average of 2 to 6 second fills...soes,selectnet,island,arca..and one route for your listed stocks...time and sales and of course level 2...

click and point trading is a must and should not be delayed if you are a active trader.

welcome to the thread
