I hope that people reading these boards and being introduced to the "Republican modus operendi" will remember it in other manifestations. While I'm the first to say there are good people who are Republicans, I must add that they rarely know much history. My own mother is a Republican. A history whiz she is not.

The point is that we are dealing with an absurd situation with the impeachment business. But this Republican attitude has caused countless deaths, and so many people are so unaware of it -- after all, it's a busy world and there's no way we can keep up with everything. But PLEASE remember it when you read about situations in other parts of the world where we have left our footprints. Just please keep your minds open. It has caused me to become totally reticent about all those parts of the world that I know nothing about. Maybe that's how paranoia sets in. Some absolutely FRIGHTENING people have appeared on these boards and have posted some things that are absolutely untrue. No point to start the battles all over again, but we all have to remember to be slow to accept what people say. Especially when they present themselves as insensitive idiots.

All right Rose, (damnit) you're right. I should not have included the word "indisputable." I was trying to contrast the general statement about Clinton's moral and ethical emptiness (which I believe to be true) with the specific charges brought against him (which I believe to be questionable, or at least difficult to prove.) The only point I was trying to make was that I could see how any of the specific charges could be disputed, but I felt that the basic statement was obviously true. But again, "indisputable" was a poor choice of words since it is only my opinion.

Yours,

Bob
