I hope your right. However, with analysts' projected 2000 earnings of $1.47 the P/E on this baby would be a nose-bleeding 109 (currently it is 78). Even at today's P/E, though, the price would be up to $115, a 55% rise in one year from the current $74. I'll settle for this return any day!

Of course, if Dell busts through on its internet sales, the stock may get taken by some of this "internet madness" and go way on up there. I personally hope this doesn't happen, but it might.

Any way you cut it, the outlook for Dell exceeds most of the other companies and is much more predictable.

My predictions: high $125, low $69, close $115.
