The AMZN PR "genius" wouldn't comment on sales but did anyway. He said business the day after Thanksgiving was 4 times greater than 1997. If there is a 4th quarter year over year 400% increase then that beats the year over year gains of the 2nd and 3rd qt. of 1998.

The trend in sales year over year gain starting with the second quarter of '97: 1168%, 808%, 680%, 316%, 306% and now maybe 400%.

BTW new account growth since 4th Q 97: 739%, 564%, 415%, 377%, and ?
