I am not technologically savvy enough to know exactly who sells what to whom but it should be available somewhere. I would assume companies that will address clients needs to solve the Y2K problem but will also, at the same time, upgrade the entire system. For instance, a small-mid size bank will have someone come in and analyize their situation. It is very unlikely that the bank will just place a "band-aid" on the specific Y2K item. It is much more likely that the bank will upgrade their entire system with the state-of-the-art products that are available today.

There are millions of small businesses (less than 50 employees) that are operating on old 386's with some sort of simple payroll system. IMO, there is going to be a enourmous amount of product sold to satisfy this problem in the next 6/9 months. I would pick DELL, CPQ Gateway as prime beneficiaries.
