Speaking of retarded, you never seem to get it through your head that IBM, Compaq, Dell, HP, Sequent, NCR, Fujitsu, Unisys, NEC, SGI etc chose the Intel Xeon because of the major performance advantages offered by the larger and faster L2 cache.

Ali, here we go again.

Paul raised a good point that it does not matter how fast K6-2 go, the L2 cache would still be stucked at 100MHz if you are lucky (mine only runs at 83MHz). You have to address this issue head on, instead of talking about something else.

From what I have seen, although K6's L2 cache is pegged at 100MHz, the public just do not care.
