Alan -I take your point too. It seems on the political level that this thing has now reached a point which is untenable. We have 9 House Republican 'managers', i.e prosecutors, acting like hound dogs after their prey in the Senate Chamber. If anyone ever doubted that this is a political chase the evidence is there before them now. For Lott, it is a difficult decision, but it is now essentially a broad political problem with an eye to the future and on who actually runs the Republican Party. E
