No, I am not sure, but I can find out next week when my friends return to Qwest after the holidays.

Kurt, have you asked Qwest if they can provide a straight PPP account and a list of access numbers? That's all you need in an ISP. A CD full of special installer software is quite unnecessary on a Mac, as all you need has been built-in since sys-8.0 or so. Hooking up thru the PPP & TCP/IP control panels just takes the right settings from your ISP.

BTW, Apple uses Earthlink as the default ISP that comes in system software provided with new Macs. I believe ELNK is 2nd largest ISP today behind AOL, so they already have functioning connections that work nicely with a Mac.

Bill Gates doesn't make too many mistakes with money.
If he's willing to dump $200 M into this company for $45/share, I'm sure I can take a chance on a couple of thousand. He's up about
2000% on his first purchase of CMGI. Why not just follow a winner. He knows a hell of a lot more about what is going to happen next in the electronic industry than anyone on this thread, including me. Wouldn't you agree??
