Christopher, what do you think of the 5 day lookahead charts? I just found this link and was wondering if you agree with their claims of 95% accuracy:
lookaheadcharts.com

According to the 5 day lookahead, Sun should flirt with 90 next week.

Thanks,
Michael

Hi Christopher!

We called AOL several times. We followed their instructions. Yet, our Netscape Browser will not work with AOL. So we had to install MSFT Browser.

Now I think I know why our Netscape Browser will not work.

I found the following article in The New York Times. Microsoft's has pacts with America Online and other Internet service providers.

["These contracts require the service providers to guarantee that 75 percent or more of their customers use Microsoft's browser software, crimping the opportunity for its main rival in the market, Netscape Communications. For a company with so much market power, a clause like that "shows that Microsoft really does push the limits," according to Chris Hall.

See The New York Times, Sunday, January 3, 1999, Business Section 4.

Geez, I'm mad! Wonder where I should make a complaint. Ralph Nader? :D

PS: I haven't had time to think about your post on merits of TA. Interesting subject though.

RE: TA tells you the whole story about a stock in less then two minutes.

Christopher don't hurt yourself. An accident just waiting to happen.
What if the flag gets caught in the wind?? Haha Just kidding? Actually I believe there is something to momentum, and there sure are a lot of momentum player out there.

re:Technical analysis, the prediction of price movements based on past price movements, has been shown to generate statistically significant profits despite its incompatibility with most economists' notions of "efficient markets."(Federal Reserve Bank of New York, C.L. Osler and P.H. Kevin Chang, Staff Report No. 4, August 1995.)

The Fed was probably refering to currency trading. The fed keeps a close watch on currency exchange rates and reacts as it sees fit. Currency exchange rates can have a important influence on the economy.
