It is all about potential... Amazon has the potential to own the market on book sales... Madera has the potential to own the 'Rainforest Retailing" concept via their new commerce site and further enhance there already existing wood harvesting and reforestation business.

So in other words...no one knows where this could go. With some press covereage...it could be huge.

Since it took me 3x longer to drive home from the north woods, through the worst snow storm we have had in Wisconsin in a long time, this might have already been pointed out, as I'm only half way through the posts. Let me say this.

Talking about Amazon and Wood seems to be an extreme case. We all know that. Perhaps it is an interesting conversation ploy though, and part of my reasons for reading these posts IS entertainment.

So let me add that in my previous post about share price versus book value, where the numbers showed Madera selling at a fraction, the industry, from 2 to 3x, the S&P 500 about 8x:

Amazon sells at 94x book value.
