Chief,

I can see your point regarding "perception" and the fact that all companies in a sector tend to be affected if there is a general sell-off for the whole lot. The dragging-down effect is unfortunately a "by-product" of a sell-off, and even those companies that have good fundamentals and "numbers" can and will be affected to some extent in this kind of scenario, which is unfortunate in BII's case. My comments regarding "perception" meant that the market is not ENTIRELY governed by this factor, but can play a role nonetheless. I just don't happen to think a sell-off this month is going to be determined by analysts' negative outlooks, but instead by a desire to "take your profits and run while they're hot!".

>>I don't have a clue, I will likely never ever get a clue. Don't believe a word of the authors jibberish. Consult your hairdresser for better guidance.<<

Thanks Chief. I have consulted my hairdresser and she said, "you need to have it shorter. It's far to long for today. Trust me it will grow again." So I take it the price will drop and we will buy it back again lower for a great growth spurt in the new year. Interesting you have the same view. Do you have the same hairdresser by any chance? ggg

"BII will move in step with the group leaders " I agree , but do you not think a better comparison of BII is with companies in a group doing business similar to itself. AOL/Yahoo/CISCO/FDX/Lucent (trading at or near yr. highs) have little in common with BII except they derive incomes from Internet usage. I feel one of the biggest errors many Internet investors currently are making is comparing apples and oranges and lemons . BII/ EGGS/ UBID/ EBAY /ONSALE/ make for interesting and relevant comparisons IMO . If stock price is any indicator , BII is lock step with this group. As one example, all in this group are off 40 / 50% from highs, many other comparisons can be made as well. One last thought, it is a well known fact that short selling and covering has driven this sector to nose bled levels. If the shorts have given up on this sector, as has been suggested in the media , price drops could be huge when and if selling begins.
