any stock is shortable, just depends upon the broker... and the trouble they will go to, for you.

Buy a long position equal to a short position, i. e. box your short. That's what I did. Of course I had to open the initial short over 5.

Hans - The rules for each brokerage firm vary. A full service broker will work harder for you if you trade with them frequently. They have to see if they have the stock in-house and if the manager will let you have it.

Some brokerage firms will initiate a short position down to 4.
