Not very thick skin by the zebra in that case...personally I think Reed is in, and at the least the zebra needs to show a little latitude in that case. I had Miami -2 and Buffalo +8 on a teaser, so all worked out for me.

Reed was definitely in, by replays. Knees never touched the ground before the football crossed the goal line. In most other circumstances, the refs would have called that a td. This one got a peculiar call. Remember the Jets-Seahawks game? Of course the Bills did get ripped off, twice. If there were no referee ripoff the first time, this game would have been played in Buffalo instead of in Miami. How can the referee make good calls when there is a 12 to 16 men pile up, but make wrong call with a 3 men pile up? It is called subtle fixing of games. Why did Bills got ripped off so many times? The answer is Big Market vs. small market. NE and Miami are much bigger markets than Buffalo. Bigger advertising $$$$ for next games. Of course, NY is huge market. As it turned out, the Jets-Seahawks game made no difference, as Jets would still be division champ with one more loss. NFL, by way of the refs, made sure of that. Reed got an unsportsman penalty on top of the wrong call. I cannot put 100% of blame on Reed for acting hysterically. All this will backfire. On a nationwide scale, the Flutie mystique could be a big selling point, but it is gone now. Dumb NFL politics? Who says NFL cannot influence the outcomes of these games?
