It is way too late to replace. SAP will probably get hurt this year. Mid year next year companies will start looking at longer term fixes. SAP will pick it up again in 2001.

Atticus, Good point on Y2K. Replacement will no doubt be the ONLY option for companies suffering problems. I like SGI [Silicon Graphics] for replacing hardware. . .as they have the fastest systems going, including Cray Research.

I also think many companies suffering Y2K woes will switch from old mainframes to networked PCs and Windows NT for more uses than anyone [except maybe Bill Gates] ever would have imagined.
