Hello Frank. Happy New Year again. I was out until the wee hours on New Years Eve and have taken it easy yesterday and today and left the cpt to the kids. I watched all the football games I could get in and watched all the business shows I have on tape and decided to take a quick peek at our thread before I turn in. I know it's pretty late but I got plenty of rest the last cpl of days. At least I think I have finally shaken off this cold. Talking of cold: It's pretty cold here and the streets are icy. Just as well. I didn't feel like going out anyway.

First of all, I will give you the top Janus Twenty stocks again. I had posted them to Tony.

About his Dell holding. I don't think he has been hedging. He just thinks that Dell will not grow at the same fast pace as in prior years ( and he is probably right with CPQ and GTW etc. on Dell's heels. But I am holding for now) so he sold some of his Dell. He said that this did not mean that he has given up on Dell. I kind of like the idea that he has bought more AOL, probably with the proceeds from Dell. I am sure he is not worried about day to day swings in AOL and just wants to get it while it is still down here. I don't know, Maybe 220 is not a bad PE if you look into the future. That's what I am doing and I still like AOL's entrance into Latin America. Heck, AOL could go down at any time but I heard some of the internet analyst's from brokerage houses say that if you want to own AOL, now is as good a time as ever. They are saying that if you wait until it goes down, you may never go in because when it goes down investors generally don't want to buy and want to wait until it starts moving up again and then they miss the boat in the long run. That's what happened to me with Amzn, even so I had it sev. times. BTW, Mary Farrell of WSW fame is picking AOL again for one of her picks in 99. She was ahead of the pack in her last year stock appreciation due to her purchase of AOL. It was my best performer.

I also like that stock list. I own quite a few of them.

Well, I am finally tired so I will say

Good night

Sonny
