OK, fair enough. I admit, I have no idea. I have posted enough about my weakness for Border's, and their chai, and the hedonistic, wriggling pleasure I get out of sitting at one of the little tables with a large hot chai, and a stack of books and magazines, leafing through while I decide what to buy.

I did have a couple of interactions with Amazon.com, which were not good, I wanted to buy a book that is out of print, Amazon.com said they could get it, and I gave them my credit card info, and they said I would be contacted in 6 weeks, and I never heard from them again. I tried again, and the same thing happened. If you ever use AltaVista, and for all I know other search engines, Amazon.com has an ad that suggests that you click on the banner for books on whatever your search term is, and it's a shuck. I fell for it a couple of times and then realized it is programmed to do that no matter what your search term is, even if it is a nonsense word. I don't like that. I just don't. So, I don't like Amazon.com. That's all.
