gary, here's a prior post about their ipo's - i haven't heard about any definite timeline but i know that they are getting a team together for the silknet ipo - my bet (IMO) is that it'll be filed for within the next month or so: Message 6943358 good luck, m

RE: IPO's This may be a bit simplistic, but.. Consider the number of IPO's due out this year. Let's pick 5 as a mid-range guess. I doubt that CMGI wants to piggy back too many of them at one time, so just using an averaging method - a rough estimate no doubt - we get 5 IPO's i n 12 months or one IPO every 2.4 months. That means we will have a quarter with 2 in it at some point. They probably won't put two into the same quarter as a split, so I would guess Silknet only in Q1. That leaves 4 IPO's in the remaining 9 months, or one every 2.25 months. If they do 6 this year, it gets really fun! This is a crude way of thinking about it, and I'm certain it won't happen this way, but it still makes me smile. Long and strong on CMGI...
