Don't apologise...please. I just meant to make you aware of the impressions you might want to create - or avoid. Hey, who am I to refine or define you ?

Be happy.

Rgds.

happy girl, I understand where you and Michelle are coming from
Hey Voltaire, I think I understand where you are coming from. Most of us do our investing by ourselves, probably like me: on a computer, in an upstairs office converted from a bedroom, and it can be frustrating when you have no one to really enjoy and commiserate with about your investment experiences. That is one of the pulls of SI for me. I had my best year, up right at 120% overall, but I know there is always a faster gun in town. I think what is interesting to people on this board is what others have done well on, and especially, been burnt on. I find that %'s up and down give a better feel to others than $'s. Anyone can throw zeros around, so the $ figures are always suspect. I find that you get to know people on these boards, and you pretty soon have a good feel for who is honest and who is bullshitting.
I have been reading all the posts about the snow, so I am enjoying my California weather. I grew up in the Midwest, and consider it a good place to be from!
Well, its Saturday night, and I am going to Merv Griffith's "Coconut Club" at the Beverly Hills Hilton to dance the evening away. I tell Merv he owns the Night club, but I own the dance floor!
See Ya!
