BTW: Don't buy a SB Live for NT. Still can't get it to work entirely. Most of it seems to be related to SP4.

Also my new box is running at 450Mhz under NT 4.0 SP4 now for two weeks straight. No BSD's, no forced reboots. Now I can start swapping parts from the old system and see where the problem lies...

On your UPS question. Bigger is better but there is certainly a price premium for the large rack mount units versus putting one on every desktop. Think of it the same way as you consider buying servers or backup solutions.... BTW: Both Viewsonic and APC are SNMP and Web manageable to help keep track of N units scattered on your network.
