Metromedia signs contracts worth $94 mln January 7, 1999 04:20 PM NEW YORK, Jan. 7 (Reuters) - Metromedia Fiber Network Inc. on Thursday said it has won separate new business contacts totaling over $94 million. In a statement it said it has won 20-year agreements with PSINet Inc (PSIX) and AboveNet Communications Inc (ABOV) to provide access to the local telephone market through its high-speed fiber optic network. The contracts are worth more than $50 million. Similar agreements were signed with Hyperion Communications (HYPT)and Intermedia Communications Inc (ICIX) totaling over $44 million.
