Happy New Year Fitzie! JD does seem to become attached to certain stocks. OTOH, he is an advocate of long-term investing so it's understandable that his 1999 picks include a couple of names that have become familiar. Having said that, LSI has only been on his menu since the 3rd Qtr of '97 and CD since April '98. I haven't checked the rest but, apart from Citigroup, don't think any are more than a couple of years old. I'm frankly surprised that he didn't include Scientific Atlanta. Regards, Wolf p.s.
