funk, I also saw that many of my "dogs" had strong finishes in the last few minutes. I suspect it is from mutual funds which report both value and cost in their prospectus (thus showing their bad judgement!). They are probably just taking the tax loss rather than show the poor position on the year end books. Year-end house cleaning. I also suspect Monday will bring them back to old values.
