LOL- well I got engaged on my third date but I was still in my teens, and I have been married ever since. But I did not feel infatuated with my future spouse- he had innumerable good qualities, and a few annoying habits (which are still annoying so it is very good he was overweighted with those positive qualities). And of course he had been under surveillance for an entire semester in calculus. Before I accepted his proposal I told him what my priorities were. I didn't want to marry someone who didn't have the same goals as I did- no matter how attracted I might have been. Luckily we have had 18 very happy years.
