Yes ... just send your $6 to Owings Mills Maryland ... and then get your subscription to LR's Newsletter ... He wants you to "Profit from it" ... then they will tell you that this is the longest running show on public television and that they are going to cut short their interview with Warren Buffet, Lou Simpson, Alan Greenspan, Marty Whitman, the two guys from Chieftain, and Bill Ruane because "it is pledge time here at PBS ... and didn't you enjoy watching the show ... now it is time to pledge some dough ..." Can we focus more on what the "Elves" have to say: Are they bearish or bullish? Or neutral? They are so cute ... the next best thing to Teletubbies!

Hey, pay your publicist $30k and you can get on any television station or in any newspaper and pitch "Your Single Best Idea for the Year XXXX ..." ... get published or interviewed a lot and you can guest host that font of financial information: CNBC S'quack Box!

It doesn't matter if you have any idea what you have pitched ... just know that it " is a 102Bpt position in the fund [we are really loaded up on this one!], and if it gets a 5% pop on Monday, that means that, ceteris paribus, it is a .00051 win for they good guys ... and they'll have to think twice about firing me after my dismal +8% performance last year when I sold AMAT on Oct. 8th in a panic ... now, I'll show 'em ..."

... Just don't necessarily trust the messengers with "their picks for XXXX ..."

I guess I am just grumpy about the Bill's loss yesterday ... as a Pats fan, I was just hoping that I could jump on another bandwagon before our ship sinks ... and since my Giants couldn't get there ...

Wait 'til it is time to rag on the Barron's Roundtable!

Chuck,

I guess I was mistaken about the website containg that info. Duker seems to be correct. I guess I assumed that what was not included on the show(the Elves picks) would be on the website, w/o having to pay old Lou $6 for that info. And I always thought LR put his viewers first. How naive of me. Even LR expects monetary gain. Sad....
