CARIBOO PRODUCED OVER A BILLION DOLLARS WORTH OF GOLD IN TODAYS DOLLARS. Readers Digest in May 1997 contained an interesting article on the cariboo mining activity. The article is entitled "Back to the Future in Barkerville." The rich gold bearing creeks the miners hungered for where discovered in 1861. I am told the best place to find gold is in an area that has already been mined successfully.Gold mining stopped in this area when gold was pegged at a very low price.I am confident this can once again be a low cost producer.
