Tim,

I would be wary of psft and like companies for this year. Most companies are getting ready for y2k. At this point it is to late to start with a product like psft and convert. If you have not started to convert to a new platform a while back you will have to fix what you have. I think this will hurt them in the short term.

Trader J,

PSFT might make a good trading stock for a point or two but I think this stock will be dead money for most of 1999. I believe most companies that sell ERP systems will have problems (slow sales growth) this year because many companies are delaying the purchase of their ERP systems until 2000 because of Y2K issues. Side note - SAP recently had a restructuring and layoffs.

Looking at GEND on monday, will buy on weakness. I like the excite announcement, and their agreements with the airlines (American and Northwest) This stock is in a good position to move.

Sold 1/2 of my position in AFCI (bought at $8 sold at $11) will look to re-enter at 9-10 area.

Scott.
