Joanie, Glad all is OK with your self-exam. I hope my monthly reminders get us all thinking and it becomes "second nature" on the second of each month to perform a self-exam or to ask those we care about if they have. My wife was 39 when she found a lump in her breast during a self exam. It was a grade 9 cancer (fast growing, a killer). I have no doubt that that exam saved her life. Sure the surgery, chemo and radiation "took out" the cancer but if it were not for the exam the treatment would of came to late.
We all can make a difference I believe, one person at a time. Sure money is what we like and we like to play with our money in stocks but here is a simple fact. When a Dr. starts a sentence with "I'm sorry", money isn't important and you find out what really is. Thanks Joan for doing your exam and the example you set by always letting us know that one or the boards best pals is A-OK. BLUE
