Afaq,

I'm glad that your belief in Osicom has paid off, and I hope for your sake the stock does go up another 50.

Every indication I had was that the products were legitimate and beneficial, but it appeared they weren't selling in significant numbers. I felt this was due in part to the fact that Osicom was a relatively small company, which often finds it hard to develop credibility. I also feel that negative publicity and the very vocal wars with short sellers may have affected the business, as prospective customers may have realized the products were real, but been afraid that the company may have been driven into bankruptcy, and that it wouldn't be around to support the products.

I still haven't seen any sign of significant sales, and I'm not sure if they are happening or will happen. However, the company has managed to claw its way back from a very low stock price, managed [finally] to attain NMS listing, and continues to issue promising press releases. This at least sets a positive tone which could benefit the company in establishing credibility, and which could help it to make sales.

I would still advise caution, as I remember the exciting run-up from 2 to 6, followed by the poor earnings report, and the subsequent crash and reverse split, at which time I bailed. Thus, it's possible this run-up could likewise be based on hype, rather than anything tangible, and it might be short-lived.

But for your sake, I hope that won't be the case.

I tend not to re-enter stocks after failing with them at first, and don't think I would re-invest in Osicom, given my disdain for its management. I am currently devoting my attention to companies involved in digital t.v. I don't know if digital t.v. will become a mania, or if the transition to it will be slow and orderly, but I think there are opportunities for a few companies to do well.
