X,

Maybe some well-deserved alienation will come his way if this DNA test story has substance. A couple times a day I've been checking out the Drudge Report site to see if there's an update.

The mainstream media (CNN, the newswires) have been ignoring it so far, as they should. If the test is negative, there's no story, as the Star editor is quoted as saying.

Though I want to see Clinton face justice for whatever he may have done wrong, I'm very happy to see restraint on the part of the media. Of course, if the DNA test turns out bad, it'll be interesting if this apparent restraint holds up.

Maybe it's not restraint so much as fear of getting caught in a hoax. And if and when they run the story, it'll be interesting how they play it, because it has little (no?) bearing on his presidency, I think. Obviously, that would be just about a 14-years-old romp. It would harden some people's resolve against Clinton, but not much else, I imagine.

But now I'm rambling... :*)

Regards,

Adamson
