an afterthought... whether somehow interacting or not, it appears dolby has taken a lesson from the ampex trials and tribulations... Meanwhile, Dolby Laboratories will continue to focus on creating the technology and products that the multimedia and post-production industries want, trying to stay slightly ahead of the new platforms appearing on the horizon-but not too far ahead of the market, because technology and tastes change quickly. let us pray it has been fully absorbed at home. <g>
