If I understand this, the Japanese banks have 12 trillion $US exposure, a lot more than was previously thought. Is that correct? Also, do you have a link to this report? Thanks.

We puzzled this out on the thread a ways back. Clark was citing numbers for Japan's derivative positions from an Australian newspaper, which was quoting the $ numbers in Australian dollars ... in Australian dollars everything ticks and foots.
