Hello Daiju,

> Is this stock worth the wait?

I think so, but that's just my opinion. With the introduction of G2, Real continues to grow the amount of content that is out there in Real Media format. The more content created in their format, and the more people using the Real format, the more they will stay a "brand" that people know about.

They have done a good job of addressing many of the "needs" of customers, including partnering with Excite to provide multimedia search engines, creating a flexible architecture which allows for easy updates and enhancements, and they have a "lock-in" on customers because of the proprietary codec format that they use.

Overall I bought in because I believe this is the beginning of the "new television" that we are watching be created.

A while? Several months? ;-) Sorry, I'm an investor, not a trader. I've been following Real for 2+ years now, and look to the long term strategic values. I'll continue to hang on to it for a long while unless I see something very disappointing starting to occur. But for now, I think we are still at the beginning of the curve for this technology ... we're barely entering the "FM Radio" days of this new technology ...

> Any ideas on the long term prospects for RNWK?

I can only guess ... but I think they are looking better and better!

I regard Real as a great investment. In fact it has more than doubled since its IPO--not Amazon like, but better than the overall market. And, hey, who can expect Amazon-like performance from a company like RNWK, that has proprietary technology and the prospects for profits in the short term.

Another deal for RNWK (hasn't been announced yet and probably won't for awhile due to the low $$ involved)

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) will be broadcasting their bi-annual General Conference using RNWK's streaming media format. The church will be paying RNWK $20,000 per conference.

Although this is no windfall in terms of cash, the more important thing here is RNWK's publicity among church members. The church has over 10 million members worldwide in over 160 nations, and is one of the fastest growing churches in the world. (It's the 3rd largest religion in my state - CA)

Members usually watch the conferences via a satellite broadcast, and since most members do not have a dish, they congregate at the nearest church building to watch the 2-day conference. Using RNWK to watch the conference at home will be much more convenient.

The church's acceptance of RNWK technology to broadcast the conferences means that members will also accept it and use it for other things as well. I think this will only strengthen RNWK's dominance.
