It feels good to see these euphoric price projections.
Reality is that strongest selling season is over and
"price pressure on pc" is not going away any time soon,
even though CPQ unit order went up higher. INTC quietly
cut prices again on Dec 31.

What makes you think we'll maintain current price or go
higher after Jan Rally? TIA!

Intel quietly cut prices for the second time on two Celeron chips
used in low-end home computers. The price cut is a further sign
that the chip giant is worried about increased competition and
sluggish computer sales.

According to the AMD insiders on this thread, they were bragging about Gateway using K6-2 chips...I guess their information was a little off...
