Hi Fred,

I was kind of interested in your example ... hope you don't mind me jumping in.

The following DOUBLE BOTTOMS scan is fairly close and outputs the following stocks.

BSIS
CNXS
CQB
HWLD
ICA
VTEL
ZEUS

You should be able to tweak it to get exactly what you want.

:-))

John

PS - You also might like to take a peak at my bullish cross-over scan which finds stocks that are way off their high and have crossed above their 160d EMA after a long period below it and after it again pulls back towards the MA. A copy of that scan was posted at

Todays Output gives

ABSC
MATR

DOUBLE BOTTOMS

Output="Double.lst";

If

close(0) > 2 and

((close(0))*100)/Max(-1,-250,hi) < 60 and

then

println Symbol;

A question re. the NA days ..
Does anyone know what a scan does when you compare day(0) to day(-1) and day(-1) is a NA day, ie a holiday? ... Thanks .. Fred
