Hi bill ,I just sent a post to GZ noticing the VGY breakout on thursday.A long time ago you said that if the 200 day MA began to rise soon after a reasonable buy signal would occur.Is VIX under 20 the next needed variable for your reasonable buy signal? Not to put words in GZ's mouth but his observation of the improving a/d has been as uncanny as his bottom call in october was. Wow when two of my trusted GURU's get on the same page I just gotta get excited. Lets see if I could just guess what calls those wild scans of yours are sifting out.Lets see what recent mergers are out there? TCI or Netscape?? just funning Bob

Alright folks... I'm gonna admit my true ignorance and ask exactly what is the VIX?? I looked at several threads alledging to cover the VIX, but none explain what it is or exactly how it tracks market signals. Is there a website that provides VIX indicators and explanations of what they mean?? Please..... Someone edgamacate me. <VBG> Regards, Ron
