I have been holding this since Mar 98. I also believe that it is going to eventually get picked up by Wall Street and get a little more activity.

The stock had been a dog about two years ago. Hd some bad management.
This new management, so far, has been staying on track (actually their exceeding) the milestones that they set when they took over the company. Look at the figures for the last year. They exceeded those which analysts had originally predicted by over 30 mil.

Westmark sees $500 mln loan volume for '99
BOCA RATON, Fla., Jan 7 (Reuters) - Sub-prime lender Westmark Group Holdings Inc. said Thursday it recorded $283.2 million in sub-prime mortgage loan production for 1998, and is expecting a 1999 loan volume of over $500 million.
Westmark exceeded analysts' loan productions expectations of $250 million, which were raised to $280 million mid-year.
''This should enable our company to ultimately report the best-ever year-end earnings in our history,'' said Mark Schaftlein, president and CEO.
Westmark expects to report fiscal year results by mid-March.
In December, Westmark recorded about $35 million in monthly production for the first time in its history.
Westmark Group Holdings is primarily engaged in the origination and purchase of nonconforming, residential mortgage loans.
Westmark Group shares were off 3/16 at 1-15/16 on Thursday.

As the NEW MANAGEMENT group continues to stay on track with their new business plan and are able to shed the bad reputation that had been left by the old management group I believe this stock will iif bought in at these current levels, a 3 or 4 bagger.

I could have already sold for a sizeable profit when the price got up to 4-7/16 but holding for another 4 - 6 months for another 2 to 4/share will be just fine with me.

Going on business trip several days so I won't be able to respond till Tuesday or Wednesday next week
