Taki, a correction: what matters is absolute $ you make not % return - if I can get only 1000 shares of WGHI b/c float so small, I'll make a 1 or 2 thousand, BUT BUT BUT, I can by IBM, MSFT, LU, etc call or put options and make $1 - $2 per contract which translates into 1 or 2 thousand and there is very little liquidity risk.

I don;t know how tight/wide the spread is on WGHI so will watch. However, I am cleaning up on the SEEK call options in Dec and I didn't have to put up a whole lot of money.

I know someone who accumulated 400 calls in LU, 300 in AMAT, and 400 in MU and he's become a millionaire in a few weeks on the moves in these stocks.

Just devils advocate - if float too small hard to buy big enough position unless in days ahead of time - that type of stock is not a day trade imho. The co does look good for momo or position trade ie. hold
